Roland JP-80x0 -> Arturia JUP-8000 V Patch Converter
Bringing the legendary JP-80x0 sounds into the modern Arturia JUP-8000 V environment. Available for both Mac and PC.
🛠 ⚙️ Crafted with Dedication – Now Yours to Explore! 🔥 🚀
After almost two months of intense work, and fine-tuning, the Roland JP80x0 → Arturia JUP-8000 V Patch Converter is finally ready!
This solo project was built from the ground up with a single goal: to breathe new life into classic JP80x0 patches in today’s production landscape. I hope that everyone who tries it will feel the passion and dedication that went into making it a reality.
The mapping is fully preserved during the conversion, so the presets will reproduce the original JP-80x0 character even in the Arturia JUP-8000 V environment.

Features:
✅ I Single Patch Conversion
Automatically converts Roland JP-80x0 Single patches to Arturia JUP-8000 V format.
- Preserves original preset names
- Saves converted files based on the preset names in the original patch bank
✅ II Performance Patch Conversion
Since the Arturia JUP-8000 V does not support Performance mode, this converter generates two separate Single patches.
- The lower layer is saved with the suffix
_lower
- The upper layer is saved with the suffix
_upper
- Load both presets separately in two plugin instances to restore the full Performance sound
🔊 Sound Integrity
The mapping is fully preserved during the conversion, (Oscillators, Filters, Envelopes, LFOs, and Modulation settings) ensuring the presets maintain the original JP-80x0 character within the Arturia JUP-8000 V environment.
🔧 Macro section:
Converts Velocity Sensitivity for the Filter, Filter Envelope, and Amp Envelope sections, by dynamic macros tailored to the respective parameter, ensuring a more precise and authentic preset recreation!
🔹 Effects Note
Please note that the effects engine in the Arturia JUP-8000 V differs from the Roland JP-80x0, which means that built-in effects—such as Chorus, Delay, and Reverb—were not integrated during the conversion process.
While core sound parameters—including Oscillators, Filters, Envelopes, LFOs, and Modulation settings—have been faithfully transferred, certain effects (Delay, Chorus, Flanger) require manual adjustment within the Arturia environment.
